GALİP KOYUNCU

Born in Istanbul in 1984, Galip Koyuncu completed his secondary education at Maltepe Trade High School in 2000. That same year he enrolled in the Computer Technology and Programming Department of Sakarya Vocational School at Sakarya University, graduating in 2004.

Koyuncu began his professional and commercial life in 2003 with agency activities in the insurance sector, and over the course of his career has gained experience in insurance, broking, risk management and corporate client relations. Active in the industry for more than 20 years, he continues to focus in particular on corporate insurance and on managing the risks of different industries.

Pursuing his academic development alongside his business career, Koyuncu enrolled in the Department of Business Administration at Anadolu University’s Faculty of Business Administration in 2017 and graduated in 2021. In the same year he began a master’s degree in Insurance at Marmara University.

Koyuncu also plays an active role in international economic and trade relations, serving as a Member of the Executive Board of the Türkiye–United Arab Emirates Business Council of the Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEİK).

Today Galip Koyuncu serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of GAMA Sigorta ve Reasürans Brokerliği A.Ş., leading the company’s growth strategies, corporate governance approach, national and international partnerships and its development in the insurance and reinsurance markets.
